Get your free Kit and contribute to a global art challenge. Have your work seen by top recruiters and art directors in movies and video games. Win amazing prizes and build the Minerva Galaxy.
Beyond the furthest reach of our known universe, we’ve found an incredible cluster of solar systems containing thousands of unexplored planets. In the Minerva Galaxy we’ve seen ice tundras, vast deserts, rocky worlds and lush landscapes.
Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to build a settlement on a planet within the galaxy. What will yours look like?
Once your world is built, share it as a concept or animation online to compete for either the Concept Art Awards or the In-Motion Awards. At the end of the challenge, from all the artworks combined, The Minerva Galaxy will be born.
From cargo ships, terrain rovers and terraformers to community centers and endlessly modular habitats, this Kit has everything a spacefaring explorer needs.
Once your world is built, share it using #KB3Dchallenge on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Artstation to enter the challenge and contribute your piece to the Minerva Galaxy.
You can enter into either of these 2 categories:
Concept Art Awards for still image renders
In-Motion Awards for animations
October 11: Challenge Begins
December 2: Submission Deadline
December 20: Winners Announced
Joining us on the adventure are recruiters and art directors from some of the top studios for movies, video games, and space travel. After the December 2nd submission deadline, the judges panel will vote on 10 winners in each category (Concept and In-Motion)
*All judges are solely participating in the Challenge as individuals, and are not representing their employers or other affiliated companies. Their companies are not sponsors or partners of the Challenge.
For both the Concept Awards and In-Motion Awards – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes will be awarded as well as prizes for 7 honorable mention finalists.
