KB3D Community Voices: June 2020

It's safe to say that these past few months have been a time of uncertainty, but also deep reflection. As always, we have turned to our community to see what they are creating during these chaotic and momentous times to share their voice and influence their own communities. Even in the most seemingly disparate times, sharing your voice can bring calmness, clarity and inspiration to your fellow artists around the world.

Stuart aka stuz0r's piece titled "Change" throws a fist to the air in solidarity with the BLM movement.

Artist ARG sets up a scene with the Future Slums kit where someone is quietly working at home beneath a bright light on a balcony; it manages to spotlight a bright moment amidst an otherwise moody atmosphere. Most likely, if you were working in an office, you might still be working from home right now. If you need any tips for staying creative at home, make sure to check out one of our previous blog posts here.

Esther Rodríguez Galnares and Juan Ramos collaborate to make this imaginative floating Cyberpunk city somewhere far in the distant future.

Artist Nasty Files creates a crowd assembling a rainbow with the Industrial kit titled "Together we stand, together we make rainbows" for Pride month.

Jonathan Harkes joins the #BrightArtDarkTimes challenge with his Utopia city above the clouds titled "Off-World".

The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft carrying NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley launched into Outer Space on May 30th, successfully docking with the International Space Station. 3D artist wuotan6666 created this piece using the Spaceship kit!

A lot has happened these past few months and during these times it is important to come together as a community of artists and whether online or in-person, help each other out.

We want to thank you all for being part of the KB3D community and creating art that inspires, moves and lends voice to artists and patrons around the world.
