We License by Company Size

KitBash3D licenses are based on your company’s total number of employees at the time of purchase.

Individual

For independent artists and freelancers who are self-employed.

License covers only individuals or sole proprietors LLCs with no employees.

Small Business

For small businesses with 50 or fewer employees.

License covers LLCs, Corporations, and other business entities with 50 or fewer employees.

Enterprise

For businesses with 51 or more employees.

Custom agreements tailored for large businesses. Includes extended legal protection, indemnity coverage, and flexible promotional rights.

What You Can & Can’t Do with KitBash3D Assets

We want to empower creators while protecting our assets.

Below is a quick guide to help you understand how you can—and can’t—use our Kits.

Allowed

  • Use in Commercial Projects – Films, games, VR/AR, social media, marketing, and more

  • Modify & Customize – Re-texture, edit, and incorporate into your unique creations

  • Use in Unlimited Projects – As long as your KitBash3D Unlimited subscription is active OR if you've purchased a KitBash3D Unlimited license

  • Share Within Your Licensed Team – Studios and enterprises can distribute assets to their licensed employees

  • Publish & Monetize Your Work – Sell your finished films, games, and creative projects that include KitBash3D assets

Not Allowed

  • Resell or Redistribute Assets – You can’t share, resell, or distribute KitBash3D assets

  • Use After Subscription Ends – If you’re on KitBash3D Unlimited and your subscription expires, you can’t use the assets in new projects

  • Train AI or Machine Learning Models – KitBash3D assets cannot be used for AI training or neural networks

  • Use the Wrong License Tier – If your company has more employees than your license covers, your license will be invalid

  • Claim the Assets as Your Own – While you can modify and incorporate them into your projects, you can’t claim ownership over the original assets

I’m the only employee at my company that needs access to the assets, can I use the Individual License?

No. The Individual License is only available for those working independently (self-employed) and not employed by a larger organization. If you’re at an organization with more than 1 total employee, you must purchase the Small Business or Enterprise License regardless of how many users need access. 

Are the Small Business and Enterprise Licenses a per seat cost?

The listed price for each License covers all of your employees. Our Small Business and Enterprise License provides access for all employees who require it.

Do I lose License to the things I made with KitBash3D Unlimited if I cancel my subscription?

No. Canceling your KitBash3D Unlimited subscription has no effect on the rights of works you have created during your subscription.
