Every asset in Cargo 3.0 is standardized under a new unified USD (Universal Scene Description) schema. Hierarchies are predictable. Scale stays consistent. Materials stay attached correctly across supported DCCs.
The new system also has instancing built in, which means smaller file sizes and faster downloads. Scenes stay lightweight even as they get complex.
We also rebuilt the DCC connectors from the ground up. They're quicker, simpler, and more stable. The connection between Cargo and your 3D app should feel invisible.
You don't need to know what USD stands for. You just need your assets to behave the same way in Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Maya, and 3ds Max. They do.
