Compared to standard Kits, these versions dramatically reduce draw calls, triangle counts, and memory usage, so you can build high-quality environments that actually perform in-game.

Do I need a specific version of Unreal?

These Kits are optimized for Unreal Engine 5.2 and above. They use features like Nanite, Packed Level Instances, and USD-based import workflows, so for best results, make sure you're running the latest version of Unreal with those features enabled.

How do I access the Kits?

Gameplay Ready Kits are available through Cargo, our desktop app for KitBash3D, and available for download from your account page if you’ve purchased the Kit. Once you’ve updated to the latest version of Cargo, you’ll see the optimized Kits labeled “Gameplay Ready.” Just click to import directly into Unreal using our updated USD Unreal Importer.

Are these Kits compatible with Nanite and Lumen?

Yes. Every Gameplay Ready Kit is fully Nanite-compatible, with translucent elements split out and structured for real-time rendering. While Lumen compatibility depends on your Unreal settings and scene configuration, these Kits are designed with best practices to support dynamic lighting workflows out of the gate.
