OUR MISSION
Our mission is to enable and inspire creators of the virtual frontier. Today, that’s movies and video game creators – but tomorrow, we believe the internet as a whole will be 3D. Just like the internet became widespread once every person was able to create a website, we believe the 3D internet is not possible unless every person can build a 3D world – this is what some are calling the Metaverse.
We are at an incredible inflection point in technological history – fundamentally the fabric of human connection is changing and industries, companies and communities like ours are uniquely positioned to have a disproportionately massive impact on what happens next. We are building a community of world builders based on enthusiasm, inclusion and a shared calling to build the next wave of the internet better than the generation before us.
OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are built to bridge the gap between high end production pipelines and hobbyists making their first 3D world. Our goal is to consistently hit the quality level of beloved franchises, and to, step by step, remove the technical barriers of 3D creation.
Today we produce thousands of turnkey 3D assets that help video game studios like EA, Ubisoft, Tencent and Naughty Dog create interactive worlds and movie makers such as Marvel, Netflix, Warner Brothers and HBO tell stories in worlds that don’t exist. Beyond the biggest studios, we’ve also proliferated our library to independent artists and hobbyists in over 150 countries. With KitBash3D, now everyone can build fantastic virtual worlds–from beginners to pros alike.
Behind our assets, we’ve made breakthroughs in the creation and distribution of 3D assets, including our own file formats to store 3D data, conversion tools, and a 3D digital asset manager. All of these allow different stages of production – from prototyping and pre-production to virtual production, post-production, and game development – to use the same content. To achieve this, we partnered with Epic Games and Unreal Engine, Unity Technology, Autodesk, Maxon, Otoy and other 3D softwares.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our community is at the center of everything we do. Beyond our active social channels, we host events and live shows in partnership with Amazon's Twitch to help demonstrate the power of 3D technology and help teach the next generation how they too can get involved in the action. Special guests have included key artists from movies and games like Star Wars, Avatar, The Last of Us II and Cyberpunk 2077 building worlds with our kits in just a single hour. Our shows have been featured on the frontpage of Twitch nearly a dozen times and have garnered over 5 million live viewers on a single event – making our shows the most watched digital art festival of all time.
In 2020, we partnered with Lightbox Expo and Playgrounds Festival to host Gameday, a 3 day event featuring artists like David Levy (Star Wars), Beeple (Christie’s), Vitaly Bulgarov (Mortal Shell), Loish (Horizon Zero Dawn), and more. On the show we launched a contest for the audience which had 5,000 entries from users all over the world. The contest winners received one on one coaching sessions with their favorite artists on the show.
In the wake of the difficult times caused by the pandemic, in April of 2020 we drew on inspiration from the Dalai Lama who said “artists have the responsibility to give people hope”. We empowered our community by offering our Utopia Kit for free to any artists who would use it to create uplifting art for their community. We were thrilled to have so many artists answer that call and ultimately gave away over 5 million dollars worth of free assets. We called this initiative Bright Art Dark Times.
KitBash3D exists to enable and inspire creators of the virtual frontier to build a better version of tomorrow. Come join us.
So far, we crossed the milestone of 100,000 users and saw 100% revenue growth year-over-year, which has been driven largely from our community of 3D artists celebrating KitBash online – with over 30,000 posts using our hashtags on Instagram alone.
Star Wars Director JJ Abrams wrote:
“I love what KitBash3D has built. Amazing collection, gorgeous aesthetic, and such a genius way to incorporate the old school kitbash mentality into a digital world.”
Our assets helped build worlds for multiple Netflix productions and pieces throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They’ve been featured in AAA video games like Valorant, NBA 2K, The Last of Us Part II, Elder Scrolls and PUBG. Tom Brady and the SuperBowl champion Buccaneers kicked off their season with an in-stadium video featuring the team riding through our Treasure Island Kit. Ferrari and Jaguar cars have used our kits this year to showcase their future product lines and global sensation musicians Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, BTS, Martin Garrix and Childish Gambino featured our kits in live performances and music videos.

Special guests have included key artists from movies and games like Star Wars, Avatar, The Last of Us II and Cyberpunk 2077 to build worlds with our kits in just a single hour per episode. Twitch thinks our show is so eye opening that they’ve featured it on their frontpage nearly a dozen times. We had over 5 million live viewers on a single event and throughout the years we’ve distributed reruns and cut downs earning millions more views making our shows the most watched digital art festival of all time.
Among the celebrity artists to grace our stage was Beeple, who uses our kits almost daily in his Everydays. Beeple made headlines this year when an NFT collection of his pieces, featuring dozens of our products, sold on Christies for $69M outselling Picasso and Van Gogh. Recently his work was featured on the cover of Time Magazine and he was named GQ’s 2021 Artist of the Year. From our show we held a contest for the audience which had 5,000 entries from users all over the world. The contest winners received one on one coaching sessions with their favorite artists on the show.
