Introducing Kits 3.0!

Kits 3.0 introduces native file formats and shaders for every major software and render combination!

That’s right! We are thrilled to announce that the entire KitBash3d library has been updated to now support native file formats for Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and Blender. In addition, Kitbashers will also be able to select their preferred render engine with pre-built shaders setup for Octane, V-Ray, Redshift, as well as each software’s default renderer. That means reduced file size for downloads and no more set up time!

Every asset in the KitBash3d store, including the thousands of previously released models, has been updated to meet this new standard. Users who have already purchased kits are now able to create an account here and log in at anytime to re-download the latest versions of their kits for their software and renderer combination.

“Our goal is to remove the technical barriers of 3D and make building worlds more fun and easy for all levels of 3d artists” said KitBash3d co-founder Maxx Burman. “It’s been such a great honor to help artists around the world,” adds co-founder Banks Boutté, “to bring their dreams to life on screens of all sizes. With this new update we are thrilled to say that cumulatively thousands and thousands of hours of work will be saved in all the future projects to come.”
